Christmas Ornament

I found the cutest Christmas ornament at the NEX today, an anchor with penguins on it! Since both Luis and I work for the Navy and I love penguins, it was perfect for our tree this year.

Finally Got It!!!

I finally got my college degree in the mail today. It took two months to get here after graduation, but I am so glad I am finally finished!!! Mom and Dad bought me a beautiful frame for my degree, so I hung it on the wall today. (sigh of relief) Feels good to be done...

Christmas

Wow! It's already the middle of December. What happened!? Time has flown these past few months. We have already been living in Italy for 7 1/2 months! It doesn't feel like it has been that long. We put up the Christmas tree already and went ornament shopping since we do not have nearly enough to cover our tree. We still don't have enough, but we did find some nice ones at a store in town. We had to put the tree in front of the doorway between the dining room and the living room because there really was no other ideal place to put it. Luckily, this spot is ideal because you can see the tree as you eat dinner at the dining table or from the couch as you watch tv. Merry Christmas!

First Big Snow on Mount Etna

It has already snowed on top of Mt. Etna a few times, but the other day was the first real significant snow. Luis took some pictures while I was driving on our way to the base. Absolutely beautiful!
