Snot in the head...

That is what my sister said today, that she was fine, just had "snot in my head." LOL I couldn't help but chuckle at hearing these words. I have never heard anyone describe a bought of congestion as snot in the head. Who knew my sister was a comedian?

Other than that today has been rather uneventful. My online school opened their links to another semester of academic wonder that I am looking forward to finishing as quickly as possible. Don't get me wrong, I like my courses. I just want to be done with school already. It's times like these when I wish I had just gone straight through college after high school instead of joining the service as a guardsman (or guardswoman to be PC) and taking on life's responsibilities before graduating. Oh well, can't turn back the clock so let's focus on the forward.

Christmas was wonderful for everyone in my family. Especially my husband! He got a brand new state of the art computer, a bowflex, a ton of clothes, a new watch, and a 6 piece luggage set among other things. Somebody is spoiled!!! Not that I can talk. He got me a pair of princess cut diamond earring I have been wanting. Who can complain about that? We also decided to head to Florida for New Year's this year....should be fun. His family is all there and my parents are watching our place while we are gone. Nice to know the kitties will be in good hands.

We bought a new camera a couple days ago to take with us to Florida because we wanted some memorable pictures and my old camera was out of date and struggling just a bit. We bought a Fujifilm Finepix Z1 in black and I LOVE IT!!! I just can't say that enough. It is wonderful, small, can fit in my pocket or purse, yet takes the clearest pictures. We picked it p at Sam's Club but Walmart and a few other places carry it too. I highly recommend it to those seeking a wonderful camera. You will be delighted with this one.

I guess that is all for now...this afternoon I have to hit the stores with some returns so I will be stuck there for an erroneous amount of time as most of us are after the holidays. :o) Chin up!! Florida here we come!

Silly Kitties

Cats do the silliest things. Mine seem to love climbing in baskets and popping their heads out of every nook and cranny in the house. Mine are mischievous as always. Sydney and Onyx...Two of the sweetest most adorable, naughtiest kitties ever. The first picture (left) is Sydney...She is my three year old, mommy's little girl. A beautiful cat, and boy she knows it. She likes to snuggle and while she doesn't purr as often as some cats, she is more affectionate and communicative than most. That little furry thing in front on her is her cat nip toy. She likes to throw it up in the air and bat at it. She has also been known to crawl into places she should not be. She likes to roll on her back and stick her paw under the closet door to pull it open. As you might have guessed, she is not allowed in the closets. (sigh) The second picture (right) is Onyx, our 1 1/2 year old. He is already 22lbs!!! I just can't seem to get him to stop eating so much. We switched him to light food...But he just keeps on eating. I took him to the vet not long ago....He's healthy..Just a big cat!!! He likes to walk all over me and squish me by sitting on my stomach. Imagine a toddler jumping around on your stomach. That's Onyx!!!

Christmas Time

Okay, so it has been awhile since I posted anything and it is because I have been so busy. I changed jobs and have been trying to transition. It's in progress and going well thus far. It is almost Christmas time and the tree is up with lights and ornaments everywhere. A picture that by no means does our tree justice but I have included it anyway. We have been using the fire place more as well since the temperatures are dropping. It's nice to have and the first one we have had in almost 2 1/2 years. So I've been wrapping presents to go under the tree and I think we went a little overboard this year. The presents overflow to the other side of the TV!!! Think next year we will have to set a limit. LOL What can I say? I love my husband!!! I just can't help myself...Whenever I see something I know he would love...Well...You can see...
